Crash carts

Crash carts are carts that (fortunately) are not used on a daily basis. What matters is that you can count on them at those rare moments when it really matters. Using an inventory list, a crash cart is filled with everything that is possibly needed to respond to an emergency (for example a cardiac arrest). The cart is not intended for daily use. For this reason, most crash carts are given a distinctive red color.

A crash cart holds, among other things, tools for reanimation and emergency medication. Is the cart fully equipped? Then it is sealed with a label and stamped with the date of the check. That way, nothing can get in or out and the cart can be put aside, quietly waiting for the moment when it can help to save lives.
