No day in the back office is the same, the tasks are very diverse and varied. The back office is the hub of the organisation. You keep an overview of everything that happens within the organisation and are closely involved with all departments. You provide the management with reports and information, you support the account managers where necessary, you are closely involved with the service desk and you are part of the marketing team

As a Commercial Assistant you offer (administrative) support to various colleagues in the performance of their tasks. You support them with the preparation of offers and contracts, the preparation of invoices and data entry. As part of the Back Office you are also expected to contribute to the improvement of internal organizational processes and the application of systems

Asked is

  • first point of contact for customers, by phone, chat, mail and face-to-face
  • communicates with customers and suppliers;
  • gives information and sends documentation about articles and services
  • provides price information (within the set guidelines)
  • takes care of the order processing and the correct handling of quotations;
  • takes care of entering, changing and keeping up to date of customer data
  • prepares, executes and follows up on sales actions
  • makes a contribution to and/or is present at trade fairs
  • takes care of the invoicing
  • supports sales and service
  • registers and handles complaints
  • provides management reports
  • at least higher vocational education level in marketing, economics, communications or similar
  • good command of the Dutch and English languages
  • good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • similar work experience
  • no 9-to-5 mentality
