The RadiForce RX850 8 megapixel monitor is a perfect alternative to traditional multi-screen setups.

The RadiForce RX850 8 megapixel monitor is a perfect alternative to traditional setups with multiple displays. Because it displays various examinations simultaneously and clearly, the monitor contributes to streamlining and optimizing the workflow in radiological examinations. In addition, the monitor requires significantly less desk space than several separate monitors. Less head and eye movement contributes to viewing comfort. The black bezel of the housing is ideal for viewing the monitor in dark examination rooms. It makes focusing on the monitor easier, while the white sides give the monitor a fresh and clean aesthetic appearance.

Excellent image quality for the finest details

Thanks to a high resolution of 8 Megapixels (colors), a strong contrast ratio of 1450:1 and a stable brightness of up to 850 cd/m2, the monitor offers excellent image quality. Even the smallest details are displayed in a differentiated way, independent of the viewing angle from which the monitor is viewed. This is a great advantage when several doctors are viewing the monitor.

Consistent assurance of image quality

The optional EIZO RadiCS image quality assurance software enables comprehensive maintenance and examination of monitors. This software covers all steps, from calibration through transmission and radiation testing to archiving. If you work with multiple monitors, we recommend the use of the RadiNET Pro software. This software controls the calibration of all monitors including data history centrally. This will save you a lot of time and you will have a uniform high image quality for the whole system. RadiForce GX, RX and MX/MS come with the basic version RadiCS LE as standard.

One billion colors thanks to 12-bit LUT

Color reproduction is done via a 12-bit Look-Up-Table (LUT). With a DisplayPort connection, up to 10 bits can be displayed. This results in a resolution of up to 1 billion colors. The display curves and detail structures necessary for diagnosis can therefore be recognized accurately.

Even illumination and very pure colors

The monitor impresses with its very pure colors and even illumination. This is ensured by the Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE), which automatically corrects irregularities pixel by pixel. Shades of gray and colors of radiological and other medical images are reproduced correctly on the entire screen. This is indispensable for diagnosis.

Consistent image quality thanks to integrated front sensor

The precise calibration of white point and tonality curve is guaranteed thanks to a front sensor (IFS) integrated into the frame. It measures brightness and gray scales and independently calibrates the monitor according to the DICOM standard. The sensor works automatically without restricting the monitor's field of vision. You spend less time on maintenance and can rely on consistently high image quality.

FDA clearance

The monitor contains the FDA-510(k) clearance for breast tomosynthesis, mammography and general radiography.

Two-screen solution on one monitor

The Picture-by-Picture function allows two views of separate input signals to be displayed simultaneously on one monitor. A widescreen display without distracting edges allows for easy and flexible use.

Contrasting detail

Thanks to the high contrast ratio, images are shown with realistic detail. Grey and black values are highly differentiated. The result: an extremely sharp reproduction of images in gray scale. You can distinguish even the finest structures.

Precise diagnoses with color and monochrome images

Monochrome mammography images and color MRI and ultrasound images are the most common diagnostic tools in breast screening. Different monitors are usually required to display the different recordings. As a color monitor with FDA-510(k) approval for mammography and general X-ray diagnostics, the 8-megapixel monitor RadiForce RX850 from EIZO displays images from different modalities in parallel. And it does so extremely precisely, for equally accurate diagnoses.

Optimized work processes

The Multi-Modality Monitor RX850 can display 8 Megapixels (colors) of image data - without the distracting frames that are unavoidable in multi-display configurations. This Multi-Modality solution provides a great deal of space for the parallel display of all necessary display applications. It also improves radiology workflows and overall efficiency in the workplace.

Extended operating time thanks to automatic switch-off

The monitor is equipped with a function for automatically turning off the backlight (Backlight Saver). This extends the operating time. Similar to a screensaver, the LEDs are turned off when the monitor is no longer in use.

The Backlight Saver is part of the RadiCS software.

Presence sensor: save energy when absent

A presence sensor saves energy and protects the environment. The sensor registers whether someone is sitting behind the screen or not. As soon as the person leaves the workplace, the monitor switches off. When the person returns, it switches back on - fully automatically, without the need to touch the mouse or keyboard. The monitor is always ready for use, with no waiting time.

FlexStand: ergonomic stand

The stand enables the monitor to be rotated and tilted, and to be used in landscape and portrait format. The infinitely variable height adjustment starts at the very bottom of the table top. This ensures optimal ergonomics, whether you are standing or sitting in front of the screen. Although the FlexStand base can move as much as it likes, it is always completely stable.

One monitor, many connections

It couldn't be simpler: You can connect most of your end devices such as PCs, laptops or cameras directly to the monitor. Because the monitor is equipped with various interfaces. This makes your daily work easier.
